These days there is much going on at the CCFC. This Friday newcomer Daniel Rosenthal kicked off his tournament career by jumping into a section filled with experienced veterans. He quickly showed that even though he is new to the tournament scene, he clearly knows his stuff as he put in a valiant effort against expert Alex Eydelman in round 1. In round two, top seeds NMs Ian Harris and Daniel Lowinger drew a hard fought game. Leading going into the final round, Eydelman drew against Lowinger while Harris won against Rosenthal to setup a tie for first! Be sure to join us next week for another exciting night of chess!
