Saturday G/45 Quads

7/6/13

Despite many regular participants being away competing in the World Open, twenty players participated in today’s quads.  In quad one, NM Alex Eydelman was held to a draw in the final round by Raffaello Piccoli, but still managed a clear first place finish with 2.5/3.  In a very evenly matched quad, Ryan Young won by a surprisingly wide 1.5 point margin and gained nearly 100 rating points!  Last night’s winner Vladimir Kotov continued his winning ways today by not losing a single game to win the third quad.

CCFC instructor Robert Steindorf won the fourth quad with a perfect score, despite stiff competition.  Finally, Dylan Young and William Ewald tied for first place in the fifth quad after both players drew each other and won their other two games.  Join us next week for the Fairfield County Masters & Class Championships!
