Visiting from Virginia, NM Daniel Lowinger participated in this week’s Friday quads along with FM Leif Pressman, NM Ian Harris and Daniel Cooper. The top section finished as it started on paper, with Pressman taking clear first with 3/3. Quad two was won by Grant Wang, whose victory over Jonathan Aiyathurai in the final round finished him a point and a half ahead of the field! Makenson Clerger, playing in his first tournament in the United States won the final section (a six player swiss) with a perfect score. Phillip Bryan and Timothy Tanksley tied for second place with 2/3 each.
