Our first section was a six player swiss. Favorite Vladimir Kotov lost in the first round to the eventual winner Sean McGuinness (3/3)! Kotov managed to rebound and tied for second place with Chris Verner, both with 2/3. Tonight’s quad 1 winner was none other than expert Alex Eydelman. Eydelman’s 3/3 score showed that his recent progress is no fluke and he is now poised to achieve the National Master title! Join us next week to see if he will finally reach this exciting milestone!
